Simply snap the metal disc inside and the chemical reaction happens, and the fluid inside turns to a hot gel. Price - Treat them right and they'll treat you right - Portable, no batteries, no extra parts. - Click the little metal washer floating in the contained liquid and watch the hand warmer turn solid and emit heat. - They put out about 30 minutes of heat. 15 minutes of that heat is hot, the other 15 is warm. Need more heat? Pack more. - Reusable! They need to be boiled to be reset. I put mine in a thin cloth bag in a pan filled with water over the stove top til the water boils for five minutes. Make sure all the crystals are completely liquified and that there's no cloudiness. - They can last for a couple of years if you treat them well. This means never storing them for too long in the activated/solid state. Keeping in the liquid state is best.

Customer Reviews - Love the idea, great invention -- These reusable heat pads are very useful when my hands get cold in the winter. These are great for on the go. People struggle with cramping, and gets frequent neck spasms. They get fairly warm/hot, and are pliable for a while. They do cool off within an hour. - Can be used multiple time -- After you activate the chemical reaction, the heat is instantaneous, and it gets very warm. The older is ALWAYS cold and has poor circulation. Use one at a time and switches between hands, or I snap two, and put one in each pocket to keep their fingers warm.
